DR. LUCIANO MARRA
completed his doctorate at the University of Toronto Department of Surgery, Division of Anatomy and Cell Biology where his research focused on the endocrine function of the kidney. Dr. Marra went on to complete a post-doctoral fellowship in transplant immunology at the University Health Network with a research focus on the role of double negative T cells in graft rejection. Dr. Marra further brings with him academic credentials in Nursing, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Diabetes Education, Mediation and Dispute Resolution and Health Sciences Management. He is currently the Chief Science Officer responsible for the Arbor Life Labs and Replenology portfolios. Dr. Marra will be discussing "Scientific Advancements in Botanical Hair Loss Therapies: Regulating Molecular Mechanisms in the Hair Follicle".
DR. KURT STENN
is a former professor of pathology and dermatology at Yale University School of Medicine. He also worked for 10 years as the Director of Skin Biology for Johnson & Johnson. Dr. Stenn undertook research at the Department of Dermatology, University of Pennsylvania into Molecular Biology, Developmental Biology and Biotechnology and has an interest in the association of lipids with inflammation and stem cells. He will be discussing topics from his fascinating book – Hair: A Human History, which comprehensively covers all aspects of hair and will be on sale at the conference.
DR. MONTE HARRIS
runs the Center for Aesthetic Modernism in Maryland USA and, among many therapies, he specialises in hair transplantation, PRP, and laser hair therapy. He is an internationally recognized authority in cosmetic facial rejuvenation and hair restoration. He is double board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. A surgeon, scholar, and entrepreneur, Dr. Harris is devoted to exploring humanity with an aesthetic compass. At a time when beauty culture is characterized by excessive and sometimes harmful cosmetic procedures, Dr. Harris stands out for pioneering a beauty-centered approach to achieve and sustain holistic well-being. His groundbreaking work is at the place where self-image intersects with health and heritage.
DR. ADEMIR LEITE JR.
is a dermatologist with clinics in Brazil, and also a researcher and educator. He has written several books and taught lots of students. He last lectured in America at our conference in Chicago and is always fascinating to listen to. He is the present Chairman of the International Association of Trichologists. Ademir will be discussing his treatments for genetic hair loss in men and women, as well as “How to become a better Trichologist”.
DR. RAJESH RAJPUT, M.S.,M.CH.
is a Hair Transplant surgeon and the Director of Hair Restoration Clinic, Mumbai, India. He is a Member of the International Association of Trichologists, and a Trichology Tutor, IAT. Dr. Rajput will be familiar to you all from the articles he has had published on the connections between nutrition and hair loss. He has long emphasized the importance of nutrition and nutritional supplements to healthy hair, particularly in connection with androgenetic alopecia, and will discuss the latest findings in his lecture “The Latest On Nutrition and Hair”. Dr. Rajesh lectures all over the world and we are delighted to have him lecturing at our conference again.
DR. ACHIAMAH OSEI-TUTU
is a dermatologist at Osei-Tutu Dermatology in Great Neck, New York and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area. She received her medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine. She is one of 58 doctors at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and one of 37 doctors at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s-Roosevelt who specialize in Dermatology. Dr. Osei-Tutu will be discussing "Common Hair Loss Disorders and Restoration Options for Women of Color”.
is a biologist and Qualified Trichologist who works in the area of Developmental and Epigenetic Biology. She is a member of the International of Association of Trichologists and, in Israel, is a consultant at Hair Clinic Laboratories. She has a Master of Science - Biology and embryology of development - from Tel Aviv University. Limor will be discussing “Habits And Traits That Change The Physical/Chemical Profile Of The Hair".
has been a Qualified Trichologist and member of the International Association of Trichologists for seven years and is now the Head Trichologist, and a partner, at Hair Clinic Israel, which was founded in 1996. The clinic has four branches in Israel and manufactures its own products for the hair and scalp. Previously, Karine worked with Prince Laboratories Paris. Karine will be discussing how they practice trichology at their clinics.
is CEO and owner of McBride Hair Restoration LLC and Global Trichology Training LLC. She is a member of the International Association of Trichologists and teaches the Hair Practitioner Course on behalf of the IAT. Donyelle specializes in hair loss in men and women and will be discussing cranial prosthesis and medical hair replacement. Donyelle was a keynote speaker at the 2015 Dermatology and Cosmetology Conference. She is a Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, a Certified Health Practitioner, a Certified Trichologist and a Licensed Cosmetologist.
is a Certified Trichologist of IAT and a member of IAT's Board of Directors. She was the first Certified Trichologist to teach a classroom facilitated Hair Practitioner's Certificate Course in the US. Under her supervision, more than 100 students have completed and successfully passed the course exam. Evie is the founder of Evie Johnson's Hair Solutions and specializes in the treatment of scarring alopecia. Evie will be discussing "Treating The Scarring Alopecias".
is the Director of the International Association of Trichologists, and an honourary member and former vice-president of the Institute of Trichologists (UK). He has trained Trichologists throughout the world and written several books on hair loss. He has degrees from the University of Birmingham (U.K.) and the London School of Economics. He runs Trichology clinics in Australia and is a member of the International Association of Trichologists. David will discuss "Aspects of Hair Loss".
